Monday Obsessions: Shoes

I don't know what has gotten into me lately but all I can think about when I'm shopping or even not shopping are shoes.  I added some really great stuff to my closet this fall -- I thought it would satisfy but I just want more.  Clearly this doesn't jive with my new simplistic 2015.  But dream with me here.

Gimme all the heels. All the time. These seem so sexy yet so practical to walk in to me.  Especially at $69.95. Please note these are currently out of stock...but let's get hopeful that they will be back soon. 

Joes Jeans - Pete Pointed Toe Pump 

I know. Another heel.  It can't be helped.  I wish the price point were better ($134.95) but I bet they would last a while.  And could be worn to work or out. I did find similar style here at Forever 21 at a much better price.

These are super cute and a great price point for something a little more trendy.  $22.90 and they may as well be J.Crew anyway.

Monday Obsession: Leather Pants

I've been insanely obsessed with leather pants for two weeks and after pining some looks I bit the bullet and ordered some. Granted, I'll be whining to the Single Gal when I get them and my legs don't look like toothpicks in them and probably send them back. But, hey, I tried didn't I? OR they could look great! Regardless I refuse to leave this stone unturned in my life. I'm still trying to lose a few pounds and tone up and my body is just not fitting into any pair or jeans well right now. I hope leather pants are the solution. I use the term "pants" losely as I can only afford some decent looking leggings. Obv.

Truthfully, I can't find my favorite Pinterest image to add here. As a Housewife who needs to constantly bend over to hold children, pick up fallen pacifiers, pretend to be a My Little Pony and climb  40 flights of stairs a day, I'm hoping these are comfortable and fit well. I'm looking forward to dressing them up and being able to dress them down. Y'all know I can't do heels anymore. 

I was persuaded by Turtle to have a coffee at 5pm last night on the way to trying out an evening church service. Mistake. His mistake is two fold because that led to me drinking wine late, watching The Change Up and ordering leather pants from Nords. 

One is on back order and won't ship until late next week and I'm hoping the other one will ship this week. Are y'all trying out any new fashion trends? Think leather pants/leggings are ridiculous? Sometimes its fun to be ridiculous though. And what husband would make his wife send back leather pants?!? 

If you need me I'll be prepping a grain free dinner and heading to the gym.....because you know....LEATHER PANTS!

Monday Obsessions : The Frenchie Sweater

My obsession with all things JCrew is pretty well known.  While I obviously don't buy a ton of their stuff {because it's cray expensive, they rarely have good sales, and their shipping charges are outrageous} there was one sweater that I really kept thinking about this year and how adorable it was. I don't know if it's just one big fad to put little animals on our outfits or what but I am so drawn to it! 

I actually think that it's a pretty versatile item and loved doing a Google search to see all the different ways people seem to be wearing this little sweater!

So, in an effort at being a cooler blogger I made a Polyvore of my Frenchie sweater ensemble.  I'm not quite sure the idea comes across as well as I would like because how did the person above me make that board? I couldn't find those images.  Photoshop fanciness? 

 I really liked the finish product -- and I was pretty comfortable in my fun, cozy layers.  

Is anyone else dying over the cuteness of this item? I would link it but its sold out online so you have to go to the JCrew store to find it.
